A post-doctoral position is now open in the DSIMB (Dynamique des Structures et Interfaces des Macromolécules Biologiques) team, localized in Paris, France.


Basophils are rare immune cells expressed in the human body. They are involved in several biological functions, such as defence against helminth parasite and connection between the innate and adaptive immune compartments. However, because of their rapid activation in reaction to a wide range of stimuli, they are directly involved in pathogenic processes such as atopic/allergic and inflammatory processes, in both respiratory and skin systems (asthma, rhinitis, urticaria, etc¿). It has been shown that the IL3 cytokine is a key protein in the activation of basophils processes and inflammatory response. Thus, the candidate will study IL3 cytokine in order to develop small molecules targeting the protein. Bioinformatics analysis, molecular dynamics simulations and drug design approaches will be used for the design of inhibitors of the IL3 pathway, in order to suppress basophil activation under pathological conditions. The project is financially supported by the ANR (Agence Nationale pour la Recherche, BASIN project, ANR-19-CE17-0021) and involves collaboration with several experimental labs.

Post-doctoral position in the Cellular and Chemical Biology unit


A post-doctoral position is currently available in the Cellular and Chemical Biology unit (U1143 INSERM ¿ UMR3666 CNRS;, in the Endocytic Trafficking and Intracellular Delivery team of Dr. Ludger Johannes, in tight collaboration with the Chemical Biology of Cancer team of Dr. Raphaël Rodriguez. The candidate will test different approaches to conjugate chemical compounds with immunomodulatory properties to STxB. The program will begin with small molecules; upon success, other entities such as nucleic acids will be designed to be grafted to STxB.

Technicien chimiste - chimiothécaire


Dans le cadre d'une rationalisation du stockage des composés de la chimiothèque de l'Institut Curie/CNRS, vous aurez pour mission, sous la responsabilité de l'ingénieure de recherche du site d'Orsay, de réaliser les analyses (LC-MS, RMN), l'inventaire, le reconditionnement et le rangement des composés stocks en poudre. Ce travail d'harmonisation a pour objectif final de rassembler l'ensemble des composés de la chimiothèque dans un même lieu (Curie Orsay). A ce travail d'archivage, est associée une pesée précise assortie de la création d'une fiche informatique de chaque composé pour la mise en plaque. Afin d'enrichir la chimiothèque avec les nouveaux composés des chimistes présents dans les unités, vous leur apporterez également votre aide dans l'enregistrement informatique et le stockage physique.
